Or can buy Latvian sprats of German bottling with Russian text on the label in an Armenian store.

But it’s better to buy, for example, «selles sur cher» — goat cheese in a good store.

Or bresaola punta d’anca — sliced dried beef

Or make this delicious treat from egg, pancake and ham.

I mentioned the cheese and meat shop above. But the most gourmets will go to the local fish store — Poissonnerie!

Crustaceans and fish in pieces.

Mussels, crabs and fish.

Bulot, cuttlefish, octopus, shrimps, crab and other delicacies.

And of course, several types of oysters! We took a dozen of two varieties for dinner, and two dozen of the third variety — the most interesting one.

They offer to taste them right there on the spot to make the right choice. And they often add a 13th oyster to the bag 🙂

Those are the most unusual. It turned out that the suppliers of Gillardeau oysters are not lazy to leave their corporate symbol on each shell using a laser! :-0

I was also surprised by a very unusual oyster knife, which turned out to be convenient and safe. On the side there are nippers for splitting the edge of the shell, in case it is not immediately possible to find the place where the shells are joined for the blade to penetrate.

It is better to wash down oysters with white unsweetened wine.

And this is a bulot! A very tasty shell, sold ready and slightly spicy to the taste (that’s the seasoning).

Military School on the Champ de Mars. Right opposite, they built a terrible barn for the Olympic Games, blocking the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Some sports competitions were held there, as well as exhibitions. They were supposed to tear it down by November, but the work dragged on, unfortunately.
